1992 – Now Lecturer – Tanjungpura University: Faculty of Education – Teaching: during 15 years I have thought various subjects in two major fields, namely English (Structure, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) and Linguistics (Introduction to Linguistics, Phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Semantics, Sociolinguistics, and Psycholinguistics). Research: during 15 years I have conducted more than 10 researches in Linguistics and Language Teaching. Social Work: I have done more than 100 social works but not well-documented.
2004 – 2008 Deputy Rector I Muhammadiyah University of Pontianak. Academic Affair: Educational Reform at the University and Quality Assurance and Enhancement. Student Affair: Restructuring and promoting student organizations/fraternities and activities. Islamic Atmosphere: Promoting and Restructuring Islamic life and atmosphere in campus through formal and non-formal actions.
